"The results of the sample were astounding!
The ammonia levels were below what the lagoon was required to meet!
Since then, they've continued to use SEBS and the lagoon has not been out of compliance for ammonia...saving the city of Bertand over $2,000,000."

"We have used other bioremediation products
in the past, but none have been
as effective as yours.
The cleaning time of our
biofilter system has substantially reduced. "

"A competitor’s bacterial product had been in use for 8 years, yet grease trap were being pumped every 4 to 6 weeks, and bio-filters between the septic system and the leach fields were
regularly clogged.
After 60 days grease solids had been reduced to
clear liquid, and bio-filter cleaning time and
pumping requirements have been minimized."

"It has virtually eliminated the odor produced
in this system and has greatly improved settling.
This has reduced the frequency of our drying operations.
We are very pleased with these results and appreciate your assistance in improving the performance of our treatment system."

Bioremediation is a process that uses microorganisms, primarily bacteria, to degrade or neutralize hazardous substances in the environment. These microbes naturally occur in soil and water and can be stimulated to grow and consume specific contaminants.
What Is Biological Remediation?
Bioremediation is safe because it utilizes naturally occurring microorganisms to break down contaminants, avoiding the introduction of harmful chemicals into the environment. The process is closely monitored and minimizes disruption to the surrounding ecosystem and communities.

Scientists carefully study the contaminated site to identify naturally occurring microbes that can degrade the specific pollutants present. They may isolate and culture these microbes in the laboratory to confirm their effectiveness. Once suitable microbes are identified, they can be used directly on-site or cultivated for larger-scale application.
Selection
1
The stimulated microbes use the contaminants as a source of carbon and energy for their growth and reproduction. Through their metabolic processes, they break down complex pollutants into simpler, less harmful compounds. This process continues until the contaminants are reduced to acceptable levels or completely eliminated.
Consumption
3
Environmental conditions are adjusted to promote the growth and activity of the selected microbes. This often involves adding nutrients like nitrogen and phosphorus, which act as fertilizers for the microbes. Oxygen levels may be increased through aeration or the addition of oxygen-releasing compounds to support aerobic microbes.
Stimulation
2
Regular sampling and analysis of soil or groundwater are conducted to track the progress of the bioremediation process. Scientists measure contaminant levels, microbial population sizes, and other relevant parameters. This ongoing monitoring allows for adjustments to the treatment strategy if needed and determines when the cleanup goals have been achieved.
